教宗方濟各倡導《全球教育協定》（Global Compacton Education）七項核心承諾；現任教宗良十四世延續其精神，增加三項核心承諾：
教宗方濟各倡導七項核心承諾：
• 以人為本
(Placing the human person at the center)：
將個人置於每個教育計畫的核心，重視人性尊嚴與全人發展。
• 傾聽兒童與青年的聲音
(Listening to the voice of children and young people)：
重視並回應年輕人的需求與想法，讓他們成為教育的主體。
• 鼓勵女性全面參與教育
(Promoting women's full participation)：
確保女孩和年輕女性獲得平等的教育機會與參與空間。
• 家庭是教育的首要與基本場所
(Family as the first and vital educational community)：
強調家庭在教育中的關鍵作用，促進家庭與學校的合作。
• 培養對弱勢群體的包容與關懷
(Welcoming and caring for vulnerable and marginalized individuals)：
教育應促進對最脆弱和邊緣化群體的開放與接納。
• 探索新的經濟、政治、成長與進步模式
(Finding new ways of understanding the economy, politics, growth and progress)：
尋找更可持續和公平的社會發展方式。
• 保護並培育我們共同的家園
(Safeguarding and cultivating our common home)：
推動環境保護與可持續發展，實踐《願?受讚頌》通諭精神。
現任教宗良十四世增加三項核心承諾：
• 數位人類:教育人們明智地使用技術和人工智慧,將人置於演算法之前。
• 不武裝且能解除武裝的和平。
